OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

Our Occupational Health and Safety Policy

The Occupational Health and Safety Policy we adopt as Demircan Inc. is based on the respect to people and the environment we live in. To ensure a safe and heathy working environment, each employee is responsible to take necessary action within his/her limit of authority. Our aim is to protect any employees and the environments against possible risks of our operations

In this context;

  • Fulfill our legal obligations under the applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislations;
  • Follow technological developments, identify and eliminate any unsafe conditions and actions that may result in work accidents and occupational illnesses as well as potential accident risks, take any necessary measures, and make available Personal Protective Equipment and tools,
  • To consider Occupational Health and Safety risks as criteria for any projects we undertake,
  • Identify any risks in advance that may be harmful to human and environmental health, and reduce such risks to an acceptable level with preventive actions,
  • Carry out improvement activities to identify work accidents and potential risks, and continuously improve the Occupational Health and Safety,
  • Take any necessary measures, make available and use tools and Personal Protective Equipment to ensure health and safety of employees, subcontractors, suppliers and visitors in accordance with applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislations and other requirements regarding Occupational Health and Safety,
  • Provide our employees with training on Occupational Health and Safety in order to create awareness of Occupational Health and Safety,
  • Ensure that subcontractors and contractors working on site and visitors comply with Occupational Health and Safety rules set by DEMİRCAN Inc,
  • Comply with any applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislations and administrative regulations
  • Update and repeat in a planned manner training on Occupational Health and Safety in accordance with emerging risks
